The edit button is in the lower right of your post. As for deleting, I don't know how to do that without the moderation menu.

Registered users should be able to delete their own post from the same menu.

The rules say you can EDIT your own post, yet i am unable to do this maybe i am looking at the wrong window but in the lower right i have on;y three buttons. Quote, multi -quote and quick reply .in a posted window.
After it is posted how can i edit my own Post ?

In the quick reply on the upper right that says "switch to Editor Mode / Is this what you are talking about.

Before I was a moderator I remember that next to the Quote Button on MY posts I had an edit button of which I could edit until someone replied to my post. Unless the permissions have changed I believe you can still edit your own posts until there is a reply made to them.

I see an "Edit" button on my post. Are you sure you are logged in? Perhaps you are just in guest mode.

As for deleting, once you click "edit" there is a "Delete" button in there.

I decided that this had drifted enough off topic and moved it to this thread for discussion about how to use the Forums.

I don't know if I am allowed one of those. I think Tomw has one and he keeps track of what can or cannot be done with that.
