I'm not sure about others, but the style chosen for hyper-links on this site is very difficult see next to standard text when reading posts in forums. Perhaps if you simply allowed the standard underline with the links may help them stand out. I've begun underlining the links in my posts so people can find them easier.

Thank you for the feedback. I'll pass that along to our interaction design team to see if they can come up with a better scheme.
