Move Media Player doesn't work with MS Vista

Like mkmurray, I think this is a recent development and may be a sign of partnership between Movie Networks and Microsoft. (Much the same way Adobe Reader offers to install Google Toolbar)
Perhaps part of the recent development may be technology based as well. You said it ran at half speed. I'm doubting it though, but maybe some of the functionality of the newest player is Silverlight based. Maybe the Church asked Move Networks to customize it's player with Silverlight. I doubt that too, however.
