Map for Passing the Sacrament

#1

Post by davidbowmanbyu »

We have recently had a big turnover in Aaronic priesthood and we had been taking for granted that everyone knew how to pass the sacrament. After a couple of weeks with a bit of a mess on our hands the new deacons quorum president asked me as an adviser to help them with a training and map. I put this together and wanted to share as googling didn't find me much.

Excel version so you can adapt and change for your ward and a PDF so it can just be printed.

I remember making one of these maps back when I was deacons quorum president!

I remember ours fit on a 3x5 index card.

Here is another map for passing the sacrament. This includes a 9 person map with 8 normal routes and one Gluten Free route. It is recommended for larger wards with members who are Gluten Intolerant/Have Celiac Disease. Click on the link below

If you have a google account and you would like to make a copy to delete the gluten free route or adjust it to your wards needs, click on the link below:

When the excel spreadsheet just isn't enough... Here is an upgraded version of the sacrament routes.

I have attached both the hard copy (PDF) and soft copy (PPT) so that you can edit and modify. We have a unique 50-year-old chapel, but the concept remains the same and the same routes could be used even if the chapel layout has some small variations.

Enjoy!

James

P.S. In addition to the routes, I have provided two additional pages that contain the majority of the instructions from Handbook 2 on the sacrament (I just removed some specific direction to the bishop like don't have a solo for the sacrament song.) I purposely separated these last two pages out so that they will be on their page (front/back.)

This link is faulty, instead, use this one:

I can open this docx file with Word, but I cannot edit or ungroup the pictures. I guess I will just create my own from scratch.

You can't ungroup or edit because the author insert pictures instead of graphics in a word document.
