Camera mounting ideas for Sony EVI-D70

3. We oriented the camera with the home position facing the pulpit, as you did. If we did it again, we would probably turn the camera home position 90 degrees, which would allow us to pan the camera to the back of the cultural hall in addition to the pulpit.
It shouldn't be too hard to remount your camera and re-position the base 90 degrees.

If found the orientation of the camera isn't that critical. I was sure to mount our camera so that I could swing it around to view the cultural hall, but in practice with the lights off in the back for the projector, when the camera is swung to view the cultural hall, everything is dark except for the bright light from the projector - so the picture isn't worth taking...

Here is a basic diagram of how to get it all working with the RS 422 interface, which gives you unlimited distance for the controller from a computer! :D
