With the silverlight player there was a way to set a "ceiling" on the player. We found, however, that some people who used this were not quite as adept with the player as they thought they were and ruined the experience at that receive site. If however, you would like to take a chance and use this, let me know.

With the current player, there is no way to set a "ceiling". We are working on a ways to get this in as we know low band width is a problem.

Had a webcast to a location that appears to have had a slow internet speed or something else happen to cause issues

Does the HTML 5/flash player still have difficulty with slower Internet speeds?

At speeds of 500k and less, the player still has a little trouble because it tries to go up to a higher bitrate which it seems to prefer. However, if set at the lower speed, thus disabling the adaptive piece, it works fine.
