"Test Stream" for the new webcast system?

#1

Post by Aczlan »

On the old webcast system, there was a "Test Stream" that ran 24x7 to which I could direct the units to connect and make sure everything worked (if our schedules didn't coincide).
Is there (or are there plans to add) something like this for the new system?

Thanks

It's "test on demand". You can run a "receive only" test or a full test with only about 10 minutes "notice". Dig into the portal and you'll see it.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

As of tonight, the test webcast is NOT working on either of the East servers. I called in after 17:00 Mountain so the webcast team had already gone home for the day.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon...

Still not working on the East-US and East-US 2 servers. It works on the Central US server though.
