Static in the Audio when using the VidiU device

The reason for the static comes from the difference in the types of connectors, for example if you use a mic line level out to a RCA, 1/8th inch, 1/4 inch jack the wires inside are not balanced meaning a mic line usually has 3 wires and 3 contacts where as the RCA has only 2 contact located on connector. so what happens is the building power at 60 cycles that sends power to the unit is out of phase unless you had a dedicated electrical ground location which is usually an orange plug. solution to the problem could be to use a ground lifter transformer usually found on a electronic instrument pickup device found a music store...
