Has anyone installed the Meetinghouse software on a computer with Windows 8.1 and had a successful broadcast? What video capture equipment was used on the computer?

We had a successful Stake Conference webcast today. The webcast ran straight through, non-stop for 4 hours and 3 minutes(no restarts). We started 2 hours early just to make sure that everything was stable. Of course we also did pre-testing a few days ahead of the Stake Conference.

Computer: Lenovo T400 laptop running Windows 8.1, 64-bit, 6GB memory installed.
Capture board: Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-950Q TV Tuner
Internet: Comcast residential (Wireless in the transmitting building was disabled during the webcast.)

The WinTV-HVR-950Q is a USB device with both RF and composite video inputs. We used the RF input (analog channel 9) for this webcast. (We usually use the composite video directly from the camera but this was not an option at this event.)

The Webcaster was set to Medium 4x3 for the webcast. There were no problems, buffering, glitches, or hangs at the transmitting or receiving ends.

It works for a while on my 8.1 Laptop and then crashes. Tried running it in compatability mode as well and that didn't help. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did you disable wireless? Running a while then crashing is a symptom of losing the connection with the server due to wireless users taking bandwidth.
