Win 8 Pro - it might be worth a try. Win 8 RT - I doubt it.

We have done limited testing and it is working

Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview
Desktop Vendor: Lenova
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 @ 2.33GHz 2.33GHz
Memory: 3.00 GB

Installed:
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version: 4.0.30319.01

Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 with Service Pack 2 (SP2) in LDS production 12Jul2012
Version: 4.0.4276.0

Using for input:
Roxio Easy VHS to DVD3 (it installed Microsoft .Net v3.5 SP1 and DirectX Runtime)

I did quite a bit of initial testing, then webcast our last Stake Conference in full HD with my Win 8 PC and it went extremely well.

Home built mini-ATX Z77 chipset system with Intel i5-3570K CPU
Windows 8.0 with Media Center
Used for input: Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro
