URL for regional stake conference feed?

There is a regional stake conference for us next week (Springville area) and I asked my Stake Clerk if he had the URL for it, which he said he doesn't.

Is there a standard URL that is always used, or is he missing a letter/email about it?

I doubt it. It will be on your Church satellite. If a URL will be made available the folks at streamingsupport@ldschurch will be able to help. In the past, a member of the stake presidency has had to make the request for the URL of a restricted program (such as general priesthood meeting during general conference).

We will be using the satellite for our main building, but needed to get it to an additional building as well. I was hoping the church would provide a single URL for us to get it, instead of multiple stakes having to use their building-to-building setups.

I would email streamingsupport@ldschurch. I don't know of any "standard" URL for any broadcast.

There is a webcast URL available but I hesitate to post it publicly. Contact the church broadcast/webcast folks and they will provide the information you need.

This is my first time as Stake Tech Specialist for regional conference and I haven't been able to locate info about the satellite broadcast. Do I need to be worried about getting the satellite feed or will it just "magically" happen?

It should just magically happen. You have no control over the receiver, it's controlled by SLC.

Now the question is if someone sent in the information to have your receiver included in the broadcast. This will be a bigger issue if the receiver has recently been changed out so that you now have a different serial number at your site. I'd talk to the Stake President.

We don't have new hardware or anything. Who would have been the person to submit information to have our receiver included in the broadcast? I did this myself for the Brigham City Temple Dedication, but I haven't heard a thing about regional conference.

Sorry for the threadjack!

SLC has a database of what Serial Numbers belong to what units. If everything goes right, it should just magically happen. I think temple dedications are a little different because of the tighter security. But I would check with the Stake President. Or at least plan to be at the chapel one hour before show time (with the phone number of satellite support, your unit number and your property number) to make sure it's working right.
