Using custom fields to track keys

I've read up on custom fields in the MLS Wiki; has anyone ever set up a custom field, "Keys", to track what keys were issued to whom? I'm hoping that once I set it up then I can generate a custom report when the agent bishop requests a current list of who has keys.

What about MLS adding this as default feature?

I think it would work. The problem is that you lose track of the keys of anyone leaving the ward.

A simple spreadsheet might be better.
Have you searched the Wiki?
Try using a Google search by adding "site:tech.lds.org/wiki" to the search criteria.
