In MLS when a user has their rights removed is there a way to delete and remove them? We have a variety of former users who no longer live in the ward yet still show with the ability to restore thier rights. If we are unable to simply delete perhaps an active and inactive tab would be appropriate?

This question has been asked many times. The simple answer is no -- you cannot simply delete any user who is associated with transactions. See this post for a recent response (or the older, very long thread Deleting users if you want an exhaustive discussion with a few tangents).

Since the complete list of users (including inactive users) appears in only one place in MLS (under System Options), I don't see why it's a big deal to have a long list -- there shouldn't be much reason to go to that list very often. But if you want to see a list of just the active users, that is available under the Membership Audit under the MLS Rights step.
