MLS Callings Not Syncing Up With lds.org/leader

Hi All,

For some reason, we've found that the callings in MLS are not syncing up with lds.org/leader. When our bishop looks at Callings by Organization on lds.org, it is out-of-sync with what the Callings by Organization shows in MLS. Is this expected behavior (perhaps not fully implemented yet)? Or, do we need to file a trouble ticket to get this looked at?

Thanks!

There are instructions on the wiki for correcting duplicate or missing callings.

You might also want to review other parts of the page like Tier 1 versus Tier 2 positions and
Difference between standard positions and custom positions.

Also allow at least 24 hours since the last send/receive.

It sounds like the process that is described here (https://tech.lds.org/wiki/Callings#Reco ... gs_in_CDOL) would muck up MLS with a bunch of incorrect data from the so-called "CDOL" and then it would require us to sift through MLS to make corrections. How do I get MLS to be the master and CDOL to be the slave?

Does the content that shows up on lds.org and lds.org/leader come straight from the Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders (CDOL)? The disconnect that we're experiencing is between MLS and lds.org.

You can try calling Local Unit Support, but that method is the only way for you to resolve the problem from your end.

Yes.

If you only have a few that are missing in CDOL (and then in lds.org/directory) then you can try the process listed at the end of Correcting duplicate or missing callings. If there are duplicates then for now the process listed on that wiki page is the way to clean it up. Eventually you will be able to manage callings via the leader and clerk resources application, but I don't know what the time frame is for that.
