A sister who was married, now divorced, and whose membership record was just updated with the divorce information and name change request, desires a patriarchal blessing. Our Bishop filled out a Patriarchal Blessing Recommend form and found the 'recipient's name" field showing her 'X-married name' listed, instead of her, now updated membership record's, maiden name. Can someone verify this? Bug? As designed?

I don't know for certain, but I wonder if it is possible that a change like this has to be transmitted to CHQ and then come back before it is completely official. If there have not been a couple of transmissions separated by at least several hours, then perhaps you just need to wait and try again.
