New Urgent Task - Need to Send and Receive

The last couple of MLS upgrades (we are now on MLS 3.3) have caused us to have an urgent task that won't clear. It is a task that is requesting us to perform a send and receive. We perform it and it never clears. Is this a new feature MLS that we should consider normal behavior? Or is there something that is causing it not to clear the task? Send and receives work fine, so the operation is working.

Any suggestions or help?

I would let it settle down for a while. When we upgraded to 3.3 we had the same thing until all of the parts of 3.3 actually got downloaded. After about a half-dozen S/Rs the message went away.

Of course, if you only S/R once a week, you will always see it.

Has the 3.3. upgrade been sent out to only select units? We are not a "beta test" unit so we didn't get any of the early downloads. However here in western Colorado (at least for our stake) we have not received 3.3 via downloads after send/recieves. I called LUS today and they said the download was a week away or so......so how have others been getting it - perhaps by doing a manual download via the MLS web site?

Yes. Ver 3.3 has been an optional upgrade, usually determined by the STS for the stake. The only place to get it has been the MLS site. You're also correct, soon it will be pushed out to all units via S/R.

We had the same issue prior to 3.3. We do more than one send and receive per week. I did a bunch today just to see if it would resolve. No change in the task.

We did the early upgrade to 3.3 per a message we received. It was the manual install downloaded from the mls site.

In early December, 3.3 was offered as an optional download. It turns out that all of the units in our stake took it while it was available.

Since then, version 3.3 has only been available at the MLS download site. We have been told it will be sent to everyone this month (January) and will no longer be optional. It was made an optional download because tithing settlement and year-end activities were in progress.
