Custom Reports Criteria Limit

Is there a limit to the number of criteria you can enter into a custom report? We were trying to set up a complicated report last evening, and MLS crashed at a certain point after we had a number of criteria listed.

And when I say crashed, I mean clean desktop in the blink of an eye and no clue that MLS had ever been running. (I haven't seen that since the printing problems of several years ago.)

I've had this same thing happen to me a few times since we got our new computer. It's pretty much the same thing--desktop appears, MLS is entirely shut down, no indication it had ever been running. The only difference is it has never happened when I was doing a custom report. I've not noticed any pattern to the behavior, and it seems to happen almost at random.

As of yet, I've not lost any information. Any changes I've made prior to the crash have been present, and send/receives are still qued up. It's been more of an annoyance than a problem, although I have taken to increasing the frequency of backups just in case.

Does this replicate itself when you try again?

I'm sure there's no limit. I created a report with 32 distinct criteria, and 42 if you count the additional "or" criteria. There were no problems at all.

So it must be one of those odd memory-related bugs.

Ok. We were only at 8 going for 12. Odd thing is that we were rebuilding some reports that were already there but would not generate and display or print. We deleted one of them, and now we cannot rebuild it.
