Second Installation of MLS

I am a relatively new Ward Clerk. The Bishop of our ward would like to have a second computer in his office with MLS access. He finds it very inconvenient to leave his office, especially during certain interviews, to go to the Clerk's office to look up MLS information, and then return back to his office. This has a negative effect on the Spirit of an interview. So he would like to have a second computer available for his use in his office, with access to the most up-to-date membership and finance information on the Clerk's computer. I guess maybe a peer-to-peer network workgroup might enable file sharing like this.

Question 1: Is this even possible?
Question 2: If yes, how can I find the installation procedure?

Thanks for any help.

In a word, no. MLS is not designed to be multi-user or networked.

There are other tools such that he can use a file exported out of MLS. Or you could set up a procedure such that you produce a report on a regular basis.

If the bishop has internet access in his office, he can use the http://beta.lds.org/ website to find a lot of member information he might need in an interview.

If he has a SmartPhone, have him download Ward Tools and he will have practically no need to access MLS except to print out forms. It is a wonderful tool for a Bishop.

Absolutely not.

WhiteEyebrows' suggestion of using http://beta.lds.org/ is probably the best suggestion. More and more info will be migrating there so even if it's not ideal at the moment, it should get better as time goes on.
