Default Copy MLS backup file to USB Drive
Does anyone have an xcopy batch (.bat) script that copies and changes the archive attribute or uses creation date or if file exits (etc.)

Robocopy (part of the Windows Resource Kit) may work better than xcopy for the task.pete_arnett wrote:Does anyone have an xcopy batch (.bat) script that copies and changes the archive attribute or uses creation date or if file exits (etc.)
Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit (microsoft.com)

It would be easy to write - as long as you know what letter the USB drive is.
At a command prompt, type in "xcopy /?" to see the list of options. I think you may be interested in /M which will only copy the files that have the archive bit set and then reset it.
