Date format in MLS 3.1.0

Has the standard date format in MLS changed, or has it always been displayed without leading zeros?

In v 3.1.0, the leading zeros were dropped from the four date fields of the Membership.csv export file. For example, what was "04 Dec 2007" in prior versions is "4 Dec 2007" in MLS 3.1.0 exports.

Is this a change in the overall date style of MLS, or is the export format being brought into compliance with a display format that was always used in reports and screen displays?

I checked a Membership.csv I did under 3.0.3 - it has leading zeros.

Just to check the obvious - you did look at the file straight out of MLS and not after it's been touched by Excel or Calc?

Yes, I have all the raw MLS exports for 3.0.3 and 3.1.0.

I have no doubt about the facts as they relate to the export files. My question is whether the format changed elsewhere in MLS -- the reports, screens, etc. -- or whether these displays have always dropped the leading zeros.

MLS has always dropped the leading zeroes in the display. But you are correct that the export files used to have leading zeroes on dates prior to MLS 3.1, but now they don't.
