Deleting "Other" budget accounts in MLS

Hey guys,

Maybe I have missed it in the training videos and such that I have watched, but myself (clerk) and the bishopric all have no idea how to delete some of the "Other-" accounts that we have listed on our ward budget within MLS.

Some other-accounts have been set up in the past that did have a purpose, but now are no longer needed.

Does anybody know how to delete these things?

Per a response to this same issue we posted via MLS message a few months ago, once an account has had any transaction posted to it, MLS will not permit deletion for 3 years. (I'm guessing that this is linked somehow to internal or IRS audit requirements.)
In the add/update budget categories section, select the account and clear the "visible" checkbox. This will prevent it from showing up on reports and such. Not a perfect solution, but better than nothing.
