MLS not working after update

I recently updated MLS from 3.3.1 to 3.8.3, but after installing the newer version we can no longer sign in. The list of users is there, but the passwords are not working. Any ideas?

Try the recovery procedure in this wiki article. While the description of what you are experiencing is not exactly the same, the procedure may recover the corrupt data.

That's quite a jump. Or was that a typo? (3.8.1 to 3.8.3?)

Thanks for the advice. The fix worked.

It was an update from 3.3.1. We are in Zimbabwe and had a very old version running.
