We changed from a branch to a ward ten days ago. Since then we have been plagued with several computer related problems. BUT, all have now been resolved -- except for ONE...

[Two Parts of One Issue]

*** In the online directory, under "Organizations" no Primary is shown.

Instead, it is listed at the top of "Ward Leaders."

*** Then, in this category, the bishop and myself (ward clerk), are listed as part of the Primary leadership.

The rest of the Primary leadership is correctly entered, except the whole column doesn't show under "Organizations."

Also, the two other members of the bishopric, the executive secretary, and two assistant clerks correctly show up under the category "Bishopric" -- minus the bishop and myself.

I've requested a "callings refresh" several days ago. But this did not help.

This is normal. We haven't been told why it's done like that, but it is.

This only thing I see as abnormal is that you and the Bishop have been moved from the Bishopric to the Primary. My guess is that it has to do with the title change from "Branch President" to "Bishop" and from "Branch Clerk" to "Ward Clerk". I don't think the other titles change.

The counselors in the bishopric, the executive secretary, and two assistant clerks have also had their calling names changed -- each one is a hold over from the branch.

I think I know what the problem is and am working on a solution. To help confirm that I am correct do you and the bishop show in the correct locations in LDS Tools? I've confirmed that you do in LCR.

I have run my fix on your ward. Let me know if that fixed the problem.

The bishop and I are now in the correct place -- in "Bishopric."

The Primary leadership is also listed correctly in "Ward Leader."

Your question was answered in an earlier response, but since that response addressed a couple of issues, I can see how you might have missed it.

Indeed, this is the way the Directory has always worked for everyone -- there is no Primary listed in the list of organizations. You can read some earlier discussions here or here.

Further to the above discussion as to the Directory page,
If you look under "Ward Organizations", Primary is not listed,
but under "Ward Leaders", Primary IS listed.
