Hello,

The last week we had a lot of internet problems but that problem has already been solved. Now we have another problem and maybe some of you has an answer for this. I contacted already GSC but there is no answer as of now.
When one of the users from MLS want to log in to the following message appear.

"The following error occurred while accessing the
database attempting to verify the user and password:

com.pointbase.me.jdbcSQLException:Wrong
cipher or version

This is a serious problem that will prevent you from
logging in.
[Ljava.lang.Object;@4d6b1a has tried unsuccessfully to
restore your database. You will need to restore your
database from a backup copy before you can proceed."

Thanks for any support.

Additional:
I tried to find out how to restore the backup database, but can not find out where and how to do that.

You need to be able to log in to do that.

I'd suggest you contact CHQ to resolve your corruption problem.

Yes that's what I already thought.

Thank you for the answer

There are some tricks you can do in the OS to "restore" some of the internal backups. But when it comes to corruption, I think it's best to talk to support. I'll do my own if it's a common problem like the lost user names.

They would be the ones to supply the answer. It's possible the section you needed to talk to wasn't open when you called. You need to talk to the section that does MLS support.

I seem to be having the same problem. Has anyone been able to solve this problem or contacting CHQ is the only solution?

Unless you hear otherwise, I'd plan on calling CHQ when they open on Tuesday, Utah time.

We got that time the solution to remove all the MLS files and install MLS again. We did that and the installation file was downloaded but without any extension. After we put "exe" behind the download-file we could install MLS and it worked. (mlsdownloadfile.exe)
