How would that work if the new counselor is a out of unit leader? Would the record also be transferred so the MLS account can be associated with the calling? Or would he have to create a out of unit record in MLS as well?
MLS creates enough of an out of unit record to support having the calling in MLS.

Sorry, but what are the steps to do that and associate a new MLS account to the calling?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

You should be able to do this with the following steps:
  • Create an out-of-unit member record in LCR
  • Assign the out-of-unit member to the appropriate calling
  • Transmit from MLS -- MLS receives calling info from CDOL and creates an out-of-unit member record
  • Create a user account in MLS and associate it with the member

Thanks. Dealing with out of unit leaders is a reoccurring theme, so I wanted to make sure I had the process right.
