I'm a new ward clerk and have found that it takes a little while before changes made in MLS are updated on lds.org leader resources. However, i recently had to delete a duplicate record and followed protocol as directed in the handbook but although it shows the duplicate as gone in MLS the duplicate still shows up on the member directory on lds.org? I submitted the change on 4/20. Is this kind of delay common for a record deletion?

Some changes happen the same day; others take a day or two. I wouldn't worry until the third day, then I would call Local Unit Support, since the record is gone in MLS and you will not be able to repeat the action.
