Tithing Settlement Declaration

Postby wingetd » Sun Nov 23, 2014 1:36 am

Some of our declaration forms are missing the donation details while the individual statements show the donations.

You haven't provided much detail -- not that you should provide specifics connected to any person, but it would be helpful to know a little more about the kinds of donations involved, and the specific forms you are talking about. When you say "declaration forms" are you talking about the "Tithing Settlement Statement" for individuals or are you talking about the aggregate Tithing Declaration Report for the entire ward? And when you say "individual statements" what kind of statement do you mean?

Note that some reports will exclude non-charitable donations (basically anything categorized under Other:Authorized Member Financed Activities), but other reports include them. Could that account for the differences? Also, it's possible that some donors may have multiple donor accounts created that need to be merged; it's conceivable that that could account for some differences.

I'm also wondering if some members donated to another ward prior to moving to your ward. In that case it's possible you see a total but no detailed transactions.
