Priest Quorum President

Hello everyone,

We have had a problem lately with being able to remove an old bishop as President of Priests Quorum and putting in the newly sustained Bishop. As our ward in a YSA ward, the old bishop's records were moved out of the ward upon his release, but for some reason his name still appears as President of Priest Quorum with the 'check' mark showing he is set apart. Consequently, when the new bishop was sustained, we weren't able to enter a 'set apart date' for the new bishop. We can't even click on the old bishops name to see his records since they are no longer in the ward or click on the position link to select a set apart date. The stake clerk can't figure it out either. Any suggestions?

This happened before. I'd suggest either waiting for jonesrk to work his magic or give Local Unit Support a call.

MLS 3.7.1 will detect and correct this when processing a unit data refresh file. Requesting a unit data refresh should clear it up.

It will take three transmissions: one to send the refresh request to CDOL, one five to ten minutes later to get the response from CDOL, and one after processing the refresh to send any corrections back to CDOL. You will know when the refresh is processed because the second Priests Quorum President will not be listed in the Priests panel.
