Last night we staged MLS 3.7.2 to a collection of units. Unless we encounter issues, we expect to release it to all units on Wednesday.

This update contains some bug fixes we don't want to hold until MLS 3.8.0. The installer has also been updated.

MLS 3.7.2 was released to all units this morning. Release notes are available on RKATS at https://lds.org/mlsupdate.

I just installed MLS 3.7.2 on the stake computer. After I exited MLS, restarted it, and signed in, I clicked on Help, Release Notes, which redirected me to this URL:
https://www.lds.org/help/support/mls-re ... /?lang=por

Notice that this is in Portuguese. The first time I did this, Internet Explorer 8 was the default browser. (This is a Dell Optiplex 740 running Windows XP.) I closed IE, and made Chrome the default browser. Once again, MLS directed Chrome to open the Portuguese release notes.

You may wish to report this through MLS Feedback so that the developers will be aware of the problem. But I believe it may likely be related to the actual LDS.org web site and not MLS. This error happens occasionally during regular browsing of the LDS.org site and has been very difficult for the developers to stamp out.

In the meantime, if you manually change the end of the URL from "=por" to "=eng", you will be taken to the English release notes.

Yes, LDS.ORG is acting up for me too. When I go to clerk resources, it keeps changing the language.

Should units that did not receive MLS 3.7.2 today (Sunday) after multiple send/receives call the help desk, or just be patient and expect it will come down sometime in the near future?

Received MLS 3.7.2 on Saturday, 09 Aug 2014.

Sunday, 10 Aug, received Window 7 update and an update to Java. This required a PC restart.

Removed encryption software from 2 new SanDisk 16 GB flash drives, (on-site, off-site copies) in preparation to backup financial and membership data. (...Were running out of space on our 2 GB flash drives. Need to keep backups for 3 years for financial data.)

Added a new empty folder to both flash drives, labeled as BACKUP MINT VALLEY WARD.

Attempted to "Copy to File". Menus did not allow me to open backup folder.

Three (3) times MLS crashed from off our screen and had to be restarted.

On some devices the software is required to use the device properly.

I can't tell if you're referring to two completely different problems or to the same thing. I'm not aware of a "Copy to File" function in MLS. I'd suggest you make the backup to the local hard drive and then use the Windows functions to copy I to the USB drive.

In MLS, you designate where the backup will go. You can send it to your hard drive and then copy the file to the flash drive (that's what we do), or you can send it directly to your flash drive.

It's not exactly a "Copy to File" function. You just designate where you will save the backup, as with most any other program.
