"Callings by Organization" -- Error

I am trying to run the menu option under Organizations | Reports/Tools | Callings by Organization and when I do, I get window that pops up that simply states that "An error occurred". We are using MLS 3.7.1 and this worked fine a couple of weeks ago.

I've tried restarting MLS a couple of times and this didn't solve the problem. Is this a known issue? Is there anyway to resolve this problem?

Most likely a call to Local Unit Support tomorrow. But you could try a unit refresh. Note that a unit refresh requires two send/receives spaced far enough apart for CHQ to process the request.

This is often the result of a database error. You will probably need help from LUS as russellhltn suggested.

If making the request through MLS doesn't help something else to try. I don't know why it is different but be sure you call and have them push you the refresh rather than you just requesting it through MLS. I know this doesn't make sense. It should be the same file from the same location but several months ago I had one that having it pushed to me enabled me to get it fixed when multiple refreshes from MLS hadn't.

Just wanted to let you know that the LUS solved the problem with the following steps:

Step1. Request a Full Membership Refresh from MLS.
Step 2: Click on File /Request Unit Refresh Data/ Click on Membership Records box
Step 3: Click OK
Step 4: Send/Receive changes
Step 5: Wait for request to complete. This should take at least 1 to 2 hours.
Step 6: This will also request a Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders (CDOL) refresh
Step 7: Send/Receive changes to receive and process the refresh files.
Step 8: Review if the Error has been corrected.
Step 9: If the Error has not been corrected, please contact us again and request a COMMAND File to correct the error.

Although it didn't take 1 to 2 hours for the update, and I assume this is due to the fact that we are transmitting over the Internet rather than dial-up.
