Scenario: Spouse abuse and a protective order against the husband.

Question: The wife requests that the husbands membership record as "head of household" be separated from hers and the children (he is not living at home). How do you create the wife as the "head of household" and the children with her and the husbands membership record as a separate "head of household" so his membership record can be sent to his new ward.

Simply move his individual record to the new ward. Do not move the household. When his record is moved the wife will automatically become the new head of household for the remaining household.
