My stake has initiated a new method for improving home teaching using zones instead of assigned lists. The question is this: Is it possible to add the field "Zone" in MLS to help us keep track and to print Zone lists?

You can use the Custom fields feature of MLS to add such a field. It wouldn't be integrated into the home teaching system of MLS, but it would allow you to run a Custom report to generate a list of who is in which zone. You might also want to use the regular home teaching features of MLS, perhaps designating the zone leaders as a companionship, so that you can report visits and track statistics.
