Member pictures in MLS

Is there any plan to get pictures in mls so that when a new record comes into the ward the picture comes with and can be seen in mls the same way it shows up on the online directory?

I would really doubt that there are any plans to send pictures down to MLS. The plan seems to be to gradually move all MLS functionality to Leader and Clerk Resources on LDS.org, at which point MLS would most likely be phased out. That process will still take multiple years, but given that direction, I can't imagine that development resources would be devoted to adding such a new feature to an obsolescent program.
