Wondering how to edit primary class rules. We got a primary class that does not have a Maximum age so everyone that moves into the ward gets assigned to it. Tried to delete the class but have to reassign all the adults in it to another primary class which is not something that we want to do. Not sure how we get around this one.

I don't see a way of editing the class rules once it's been formed. You may just want to print out everything as it stands now and do a "reset" of the class rules and then re-enter what's needed. It may save you some problems in the long run.

RusselHltn is correct that there is no way to edit the rules once the class is formed, but I would be very wary of his suggestion to reset the classes. Only do this if you are fine with losing every class you have ever added, either manually or via a split.

A much simpler way to handle your situation is to do the following:
  • Go to the class member list, and click on the Remove link for each person that doesn't belong in the class. Doing it this way gives you the option of moving a member to another class, but it is not required. Just hit Remove, Save, and they will be gone from the class.
  • Create a new class (you can give it a temporary name) with the correct rules.
  • Delete the original class, moving the remaining correct members to the class with the temporary name.
  • Rename the temporary class to be the correct name.

The reason I suggested reset is because if someone made the mistake of creating a class with no maximum age, then what other mistakes are hiding? I would start a careful comparison between the ward's settings and the test unit. If I found too many discrepancies, then I would consider the reset.
