MLS trying to close out fiscal year?!

So I'm still waiting for MLS to update to 3.5, and for about a week, whenever I try to do anything on the financial side of things, it tells me that I first have to close out the fiscal year. It's October. So that's ridiculous.

It also tells me that it CAN'T close out the year because there is no financial information recorded for any week this year.

When I called support, they said just wait and the 3.5 update should hopefully fix this, but I'm fearful that it's something else, and wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Thanks!

Edit: My system clock and the clock on MLS both seem to be correct, so I don't think that's the issue here.

You have already answered the first question about the clock.

We have had a wide variety of interesting things when we have tried to do something during the transition. I recommend you keep doing Send/Receives until MLS 3.5 is fully installed. Then, if there is still a problem, call Local Unit Support again.

I think you are in an area where MLS 3.5 may have been pushed out. If so, complete the transition. If that does not work, call LUS again and let them know you cannot function financially until you get MLS 3.5 and see if they can push it to you.

having the same problem here, MLS is fully updated, it may have happened because there was an incorrect date entered for entering donations one day, then we changed it to the correct date and it thought the year was over, then we fixed the date and now it keeps saying fiscal year doesn't need to be closed when we go tasks and when we got to anything else it says close fiscal year in urgent tasks. So its an endless loop of errors and you can't manually close a fiscal year.
system clock and mls clock are correct

I'm not clear about a certain batch you mentioned. You stated one donation batch was entered on the wrong day. What was the date of that batch? Was the date for that batch ever corrected?
