Updating the meeting start times

I've had an ongoing problem since Jan 1 getting the meeting times on our web site to be updated. I've made the changes to the times in MLS, but only the "First meeting start time" is correct. The Sacrament meeting time shows 6:00 pm even though MLS has had it at 3:00 since January.

I've tried updating the times in MLS, tried back-dating the effective date, forward dating it, and putting it the same day I sync ... nothing works.

Does anyone know the secret sauce to get the time on the web site to match MLS?

This is a pretty long thread, but I'm fairly confident you will find you answer in it: http://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.php?t=895

My best guess at an answer is for you to post the time change effective date 3 weeks out from the day you do it. There's some reasoning behind that near the end of the thread, whose link I provided above.

The only cure that worked for me was updating MLS meeting times with an effective date that was three weeks in the future.

I spoke with the help desk today. If you have set the change with a date in the future and then done a Send/Receive in MLS, there is nothing more you can do, according to the help desk. They are aware of the glitch in the system and are trying to correct it.

For our affected unit, I added a statement under the meeting times that shows the correct times: "In 2008, this unit meets at . . . "

I will go to the other thread and add this note.
