Using 7 kinds of member data that makes Ward (SS, R/S,..) Councils Work At Their Best

Custom Filed was developed years ago so that 7 or more kinds of data collected from church members can be collected, stored, and made available to EVERY Council member on a Ward...ie. Ward Councl, Sunday School Council, Reilief Society Council, Elders Council, High Priest Council, etc) so that Council Members can have sufficient data so that "any one" can make a recommendation representing a solution to a ward issue, or staffing solution and with sufficient experience by the Bishop & Council Members....such recommendation are "allowed" to stand...since the Bishop is no longer the one and only person who runs a ward and makes ALL the decisions for the ward. The member data to be collecteded should describe their many Skills, Abilities, Capabilities, skills and training. Custom Fields, by my experience meets all of these requirements, when their one or two ward titles are represented as STRING when they are INITIALIZED, which includes a description for each Custom Field being typed i given,....and subsequently...shown to members...at the time they fill out an appropriate Ward Talent, Interest, Education, Abilites, & Capabilities Survey Form, with a SAMPLE of how other church members have previously filled out so they have an example of to "look at" so they can do the same. The following table represents what the MLS is NOW capable of using and are described as mls CUSTOM FIELDS:

Heavy Equipment.String...Back-hoe, tractor or dump-truck perator, trailer,etc
Other................... String.. Cherry-Picker, sizzer-lift, fork-lift wner/operator,etc
Any New Title...... String...Any other skill or ability that can be defined and

Note: Each of the NAMES shown here are NOW selectable for a MLS Custom Report just as Preferred Name, Birth Date, Baptism Date are...and are located NOW in the same place as they are. Copies of these reports, showing ONLY five (5) additional columns after Preferred Name...is highly recommended... The MLS Custom Report provides EVERY talent, ability, skill, etc for each person when it is printed, even though The Talent list may contain 5 items, Sports ability has only 1, Music abililite has 3, etc...all may be different...and is then given to the Bishopric and Each and Every Council Member in the Ward. This is a marvelous technical ability that exists in the MLS...as it NOW STANDS... By "typing" in "Custom Fields" IN the box on the top of this page, there should be a place where I placed the STEPS NEEDED TO IMPLEMENT THIS CAPABILITY..
