How to view neighboring stake calendars?

#1

Post by keelj »

I am a stake Technology Specialist (Asst Stake Clerk)I reside in a Tri-Stake area. Many of our events are Tri-Stake invitations. (YSA activities as an example)Currently when signed into my stake calendar, I cannot view my neighboring stake calendars, and they cannot view ours. Will this issue be dealt with in an upcoming change?

Not that has been announced. I believe there is a way for a region to create a calendar that's visible to the stakes, but you'd have to get someone at the regional level to set that up.

The usual way to deal with with YSA events is to have the stake sponsoring the event inform the other two stakes so they can place it on their calendars.

I can relate to the question, because we have the same issue with our YSA, especially where we are the sponsoring or host stake. We are in need to have a regional calendar and we have been given the same answer, so we have actually elevated our question to our area representative to discuss the possibility. To me there should be a way to have the option on a calendar to open it up to another stake if needed in this situation.
