At least for our stake (and I assume church-wide), meeting times were updated on LUWS for all of our units sometime last night. Hallelujah!:)

If your meeting times have yet to be updated, and you have already made and transmitted the update within MLS contact Stake and Ward Websites Helpdesk to have your unit's home page flushed. It should be working now.

Changing Meeting Times in MLS

An MLS administrator can change it in System Options > Unit. However, around the first of the year a link to the right spot will show up in Urgent Tasks, so it's very easy to find.

Also, I would mention that you might want to get acquainted with the MLS Help System. If you go into help and search for "meeting time", the first entry shown will teach you exacty what I said above. We're happy to help you on this forum, but you can get quicker answers for most questions using MLS help.

The problem is that my access to the MLS system is limited to Sundays. Even then it is limited because of the frantic activity going around me. Here I am on the road and I can take the questions that I have gathered during the week and put them here on this forum. This means that when I get an answer, as I have, I can use the limited time I have at home to get things done.

I understand. One option to consider is installing MLS on your personal computer. Of course you can't install your ward/stake/branch/district's live data, but MLS comes with sample data that you can use. I have found my test installation to be invaluable as I support MLS users in my stake (I serve as the Stake Technology Specialist), answer questions on this forum, participate in beta testing new MLS versions, take online training courses, or just have a question of my own that comes to mind.

I highly recommend a personal install of MLS with sample data for all the above reasons. If you do not have access to the download yourself, your Stake Technology Specialist should be able to obtain the MLS installation program for you.

I wrote a wiki article for the LDSClerks wiki that you might find helpful. It describes how to install and use the MLS test data. It can be found at:

Meeting times still not synched

#19

Post by preston.baxter »

Our Ward Clerk changed the meeting times in MLS, but they were not updated on the website. A couple of weeks ago I had our bishop log in (I don't have full MLS access) and we verified together that they MLS meeting times were correct. However the "First Meeting Time" still shows up with a different time on the website.

Suggestions? I haven't tried changing both the Sacrament Meeting and First Meeting times in MLS to something new, waiting for the LUWS update, then changing them back. But that's probably my next step.

When you last changed the time, did you put in a future effective date or a past one? I'd re-input a time with a date that's a couple of days into the future and then do a send/receive.
