Activating Stake and Ward Websites

I have been experimenting with the capabilities of LDS maps and noticed the links to the Ward and Stake websites. The Ward and Stake websites are not activated. As I am Stake Technology Specialist I wonder if I should be requesting them to be activated and if I do, what information should be on them.

I have been aware of standard Ward and Stake websites but thought that this functionality was only available in the US and not in the UK. Are these sites now available in the UK as well?

Who is responsible for keeping any information on these sites updated?

It looks like the classic websites are something different which has been replaced but I cannot find an obvious sub forum which covers the new Ward and Stake sites.

The classic websites are still for the US (and Canada I think) only. They haven't been completely replaced yet, but the calendar and directory are part of the replacement and are available to everyone. The rest of the classic Ward and Stake websites is suppose to be replaced by the end of this year.

So currently the sub forums that apply to the replacements would the the calendar and directory sub forums of the LDS.ORG Web Site forum.

When using LDS maps, selecting a Ward or Stake includes a link to a "Website". Are these links provided to link to classing Ward and Stake websites? If so will these links be done away with in the future or will something else relevant be linked via these provided links instead?

Those links are to the classic Ward and Stake websites. I don't know what the full replacement looks like, but I would think that the link would be replaced with something else that points to the new resources when it is available.
