Address Conflict in LUWS vs. MLS

#1

Post by jscrockett »

A household in our ward had the clerk update their (physical) address in MLS but it does not propagate to LUWS, even after waiting weeks, and trying more than once. One non-standard aspect of the household is that the head-of-household is a non-member record, but we have tried changing address on one of the members who is not head-of-household, and still MLS has it right but LUWS doesn't.

Any ideas?

Nonmember records do receive special handling in the software, so you might be on to something in your theory. You might try following the instructions on the wiki under Nonmember spouse for correcting records for a household with a nonmember spouse. Even if the record was already created correctly, following this process would effectively create a new nonmember record, and that might very well kick the system into recognizing a change and processing the address change.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
