Resource Scheduling across stake borders

Our stake (as do many in the church) shares a camp with several other stakes. Scheduling the camp has always been a challenge. It would be nice if a special resource scheduling function could be developed that would permit resource scheduling across stake boundaries for resources shared by multiple stakes. All the stakes using the resource could see the calendar and make submissions. The agent stake for the resource would provide the administrator who approves or rejects requests. Anything going on that could lead to this kind of functionality?

Thank you for pointing me to the WIKI entry. I was not able to find any time line for the project. Anyone know when it may go into Beta? We (Las Cruces New Mexico Stake) would be willing to be a beta tester.

In the meantime, you may want to look at this post and the threads it directs you to.

Beta is still a ways out, especially for the features you're asking about. I would recommend you contact Burdette Haderlie (the project manager) and let him know you're willing to be a beta tester. That way when we (the development team) get to the point that we need that kind of testing, we'll know where to find the information.

If you want to be involved in the development process, send me an email and we can arrange that, too.
