Stake Administrator Rights Flowing down to Wards

#1

Post by heyring »

I am the Stake Admin for our Stake.

The 2nd Counselor in our Stake Presidency is set up as a Stake Admin as well. We have 9 Wards in our Stake. His rights flow down to 8 of the 9 Wards, but not into the 9th. He can send out broadcast emails to all Wards but the one where his rights do not flow into.

Has anyone seen this, or have a suggestion on how to remedy?

We have myself, and one other Stake Admin and our rights flow to all Wards as expected.

Thanks in advance..

Stake Admins are added to wards by default, but a ward administrator has authority to remove any other administrators, including the stake administrators. That's a bad idea, but they may have done it by accident, or perhaps they just thought they should clean up the administrator list.

In any case, you can fix it as described in the wiki under Adding administrators for new wards or branches.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

Thanks Alan.

I followed the steps specified and after deleting and re-adding the Stake Admin, it flowed down properly to all of the Ward sites.

I appreciate the quick response.
