In our case, the LUWS admins are clerks, executive secretaries or other support types. Were you thinking of MLS?wesax wrote:How many administrators does everyone have? Are they all called? I would understand that the Bishop be an administrator and possibly the Ward Clerk. Who else do you have as an administrator, just curious.

Our stake web site has 2 administrators, and most of the wards have 2 administrators (one has 3) of their own. So since a stake administrator is a ward administrator by default, most of our wards have 4 total administrators.wesax wrote:How many administrators does everyone have? Are they all called? None of our bishops are ward web site administrators. They are probably half clerks and half people specifically called to be administrators (the latter generally are called to the position).

For LUWS, our stake has two administrators. We ask each ward to also have two administrators. Most, but not all, are clerks, assistant clerks, or executive secretaries.
Occasionally, a counselor in a bishopric or presidency will want to be intimately involved and be an administrator.
We do not have any bishops as admins. Our admins are either called or accept an official assignment in conjunction with their calling to help maintain the site.
We have found that it helps if an admin is involved in the ward PEC or ward council, just from a "knowing what is going on" perspective.

Good questions. In our stake there are five stake administrators. That is because the stake presidency all want to be administrators. The primary stake administrator is a calling with no other calling responsibilities at the stake level and the stake technology specialist is also an administrator.wesax wrote:How many administrators does everyone have? In my ward there are three over-all administrators. One is the bishop. The primary ward administrator is called to that responsibility and has no other calling. The other or secondary administrator is a volunteer who was not called. He is a backup for the primary.
In the unit resources we have administrators for each resource. For example the missionary meals calendar resource has five administrators - the relief society presidency and the missionary meals coordinator. As the ward adds other resources they will also have administrators. These resource administrators have limited administrator privileges that relate to and affect only the resource for which they are linked.
