I am a new ward website administrator who is heavily promoting the use of the ward website by ward members. I have recently received some feedback that I'd love to get some help with.

Is there any way to be able to selectively show stake events on our ward calendar? Right now all Stake events including temple assignments, stake presidency interviews for other units, etc. ALL show up on our ward website. It is very confusing to our members to have to sort through all those events to find the ones that apply to members of our ward.

The stake web site administrator can choose for each stake calendar event which wards will see the event. For example, stake conference would appear on the calendar for all wards, but La Proba First Ward's ward conference would appear only on that ward's calendar. So you should ask him to be more selective in what events he causes to appear on your ward's calendar.

It has been proposed that there be a capability for wards controlling this (see this post, for example) but given the way local web sites work now, your only option at this point is to ask the stake web site administrator to change what events he selects to appear on your ward's calendar.
