Ajax Auto-Cross-Referencing

Postby josh-p40 » Sun Feb 25, 2007 8:31 pm

OK, so I have a new version of my auto-cross referencer.

This one is a little fancier because I used ruby on rails and a little simple ajax to make it easier to use. And yes, I am just using WEBrick...

The main thing is you can see the verse before you put in the phrase or passage, so it's a little more intuitive.

Let me know what you think.

The back end is still the same. It's just the front end is using ruby instead of php.

For those of you who have port 3000 blocked going outbound. (like I do here at ebay), I put the page up on port 80 as well.

Something else I've noticed, it slows down a lot on phrases, so it's probably best to just pick a single word for now. Pick the more important word in the phrase you're searching on.
