Hey

I first want to start by saying I love the note section, I put all of my lesson notes in there and it's a handy resource. I was wondering if there was any plan to add folder functionality? It would appease my need for neatness in note-taking.

Also, just a note to whoever the web guy is, your link from notes help to these forums is broken. (https://ue.ldschurch.org/ldsapphelp/notesandjournal/ - click on getting help and the forum link is there) . It comes up with the image attached.

Notebooks perform basically like folders. Have you tried them? If so and they don't do what you want, could you expound? If you haven't tried them, give them a try.

(NOTE: There's no guarantee the developers will see this thread - the forum is for user-to-user support. But this is a good place to thresh out your idea and find out if the feature or a near alternative is already there. Once that's done, you might wish to use the feedback link at the bottom of the Notes page to ensure your idea gets to the developers.)

The notebook entries themselves, what you state are similar to folders, are very primitive in that sense. I use one notebook entry as its own lesson and add content to it, for example, I might link a scripture, which takes up its own section, and then a bookmark somewhere else, etc. It would be nice if there was an ability to put the notebooks themselves into categorized folders

The best way for the developers to see your suggestion is to submit LDS.org feedback. Go to the bottom of any LDS.org page. Click on the Feedback link. Fill out the form. Be sure to click on Suggestion. Use the words Notes, Notebooks, Folders somewhere in your message. When they search for suggestions, your message will appear in the resulting list.
