Christmas Advent Calendar featuring church videos

Postby kennethjorgensen » Mon Dec 01, 2014 1:52 pm

As part of the #ShareGoodness and #ShareTheGift campaigns I decided to create a Christmas Advent Calendar featuring mostly (but not exclusively) church produced videos.

It has been put together to allow all people regards of religion, belief, or culture to appreciate the spirit and meaning of Christmas in a way they wish to feel inspired to. Every day leading up to Christmas day you can open a new door on the calendar and the following content will be revealed:

    1) Follow the Christmas story (watching and/or read)
    2) Watch & listen to inspiring Christmas carols & songs
    3) Watch an inspired story/message on sharing/giving.

Feel free to share the calendar with your family, friends and the world.

If there are any professional web designers who fancy to beautify, bug fix and improve on my basic work feel free to give me updated html, css or .js files.

Thanks for providing this fun, entertaining, and Christ-centered Christmas advent e-calendar. I will book mark it and use it next year.

I'd suggest increasing the font size of the numbers on the calendar date icons so they are readable on smart phones without zooming in.

The Christmas Advent Calendar has now been updated for 2015 with some new videos to replace ones which are no longer available.

If you wish to share with your family and friends you can use this link:

or use the social media share buttons on the webpage itself.

A bit of background information about the calendar can be found here:
