I'd start by talking with your bank. Some types of accounts don't allow the kind of transaction the church is using to do electronic transfers.

Step 2 of the donation process allows you to set up a new account.

I logged into the donations page for the first time, and have not yet made any contributions this year (moved overseas and there is no branch here). I can see my contributions from last year, but when I click on the current year, there is not link or option to make a payment or create a statement. Due to my remote location I cannot make a donation. Can you please provide guidance as to why I may not be able to create a new tithing payment. Thank you.

At this time on-line donations are only available to members in the US and Brazil. Probably due to the differences in currency, banking and local laws.

However, if you are temporarily overseas, such as with the military, embassy, or similar, and you still use a savings or checking account at a U.S. bank, you should contact the Donations Department. In many cases, they are able to flag your account so that you may use Online Donations, especially if you were already using it.

The electronic tithing payment method needs to have a "pick-a-date" area to post date future donations. I am not always able to take care of bills on payday, and so I add a later date to ePay bills so they will come out after my payday. I am not able to do that with my tithing. Paying my tithing first is the most important thing to me, but I am leaving on vacation for 3-1/2 weeks and will not be able to get into lds.org when my pay check hits the bank. I do not have enough funds to pay early, but have to pay my other bills while I am gone so not to get late charges. Those will have a future date on them through on-line bill pay. My finances always messes up when tithing is not paid first; this worries me. You see my problem? I am sure I am not the only one. Please consider adding that feature in the future. thank you!!

Unfortunately this forum is only user-to-user support. We have no ability to make changes to this program. You have two options to get your concerns and suggestions before those who make the decisions. The first is to use the feedback link at the bottom of the Donations page. The second is to pass your feedback up through the priesthood chain.
