Manual scheduling of online donations

Has there been consideration or plans for the ability to manually schedule a single donation? I understand the concerns with funds availability risk in putting donations on recurring schedules. However, it would be nice to schedule a single donation for, say 5 days in the future. What are the thoughts or plans along those lines?

The team is fully aware of this request. There are many things to think through before enabling this type of functionality. There are no current plans to allow this functionality in the very near future, but it is being discussed.
